Sephora Merch Shop

2025
To promote the launch of Sephora’s first ever merchandise line, I worked as the lead designer, alongside editorial and merchandise partners, to develop the visual look and feel of digital marketing assets to bring the wearable collection to life. Due to the minimal resourcing and quick turn-around time for this project, we were tasked with the challenge of creating the visuals for this pilot using only core brand elements and previously shot imagery, a testament to the team’s resourcefulness and skilled collaboration.

This project began with naming and defining the visual identity of the merchandise line, which would later manifest in a brand tile which lives on the product page of the dot com site. The final product-line name and design are instantly recognizable as Sephora as well as minimalistic yet trend-forward and elevated, reflective of the design of the wearable pieces themselves.

After nailing down the name and identity of the collection, our team switched gears to develop digital marketing content to drive customer awareness while creating excitement and encouraging sales. For the teaser promoting the line we chose to feature an enlarged embroidered Sephora logo, hinting at the aesthetics of the line without revealing the entire collection. The design of the marketing assets announcing the collection’s availability leveraged previously shot imagery from the social-media team, laid over a playful “millenial pink” backdrop, and brought to life through a simple yet eye-catching animation. These assets reached clients through email, sms, and promotional placements on the dot-com site, effectively creating-buzz and targeting highly engaged existing clients to make the purchase.
