Valentine’s Day Fragrance Campaign

2025
To promote Sephora’s fragrance category during the Valentine’s Day gift buying season, our team was tasked to create a campaign promoting the season’s hottest fragrances and evoke the celebration of loved ones during this romantic holiday. The deliverables for this campaign consisted of a large arrangement of in-store assets, to encourage shoppers to test scents in person and participate in member savings/benefits, as well as digital assets and gift cards to reach our online shoppers.

The visual concept our team developed for this campaign was dreamy, romantic, luxurious yet approachable. Apart from the featured fragranced being the focal point of our photography, our hero design element was diffused florals. Florals have an obvious nod to the gifts given on valentines day, but the abstraction of the flowers achieves an intimate, delicate, and dreamy feeling that draws the client in. The diffusion of the florals not only allows the featured products to remain the heroes of the placements, but also prevents the flowers from being misconstrued as ingredients of the fragrances. Elevated and abstracted florals in the traditional pink, purple, and red color palette for this campaign, became the perfect backdrop to begin designing the wide range of assets for this campaign. Our in-store placements brought these designs to life at a mesmerizing scale, for the client to become drawn into our product displays and immersed in a dreamy romantic shopping experience. Within digital placements, online shoppers' attention was caught by the striking colors and visuals of our unconventional artwork redefining what was previously seen to be an undoubtedly cliche holiday. The ease of shopping directly from a promotional text, email, or Valentine’s Day themed e-gift card also became a dreamy and romantic experience when coupled with our thoughtfully designed visuals.
